A tutorial/review video about Renoise Redux (a sampler VST/AU plugin for Windows and MACOSX). Is it a Serato Sample killer? Yes, if you're looking to do more with a sample besides time stretching and auto chopping a loop. No, if you want a way to tell the root key to a sample (which is unfortunate) and simplicity. However, Redux has a bit more under the hood and if you want to learn it. Well allow me to show you the ropes. get it here (try to the demo and see if it fits you) 🤍 social media links 🤍 [Contact me here for fastest response!] 🤍 🤍 🤍 🤍 #sampling #Redux #serato

If you don’t have an external MIDI controller or would just like a software alternative to one, then the Instrument MIDI Control device can be used to send MIDI messages directly to the Plugin and MIDI components of a Renoise instrument. As an effect device it also has the advantage of being easy to control and automate. 0:00 - Intro 0:30 - Device Parameters 2:28 - Affecting Samples 3:58 - Device Specifics
Short video demonstrating native Renoise 3.4.1 running on Raspberry Pi 400. I compiled a couple of VST instruments to test how it runs. Here I have running three instances of Helm, one Dexed and Cardinal at the same time. Due to recording the screen and audio in real time I got some slow screen framerate, but otherwise the playback is completely smooth.

Welcome to my tutorial on making Drum & Bass in Renoise. Please forgive my sputtering, stuttering, & cussing. This is my first attempt at doing such a video & I'm not quite used to it yet. This first video was only supposed to be 10-20 minutes, but I was really surprised at how quick the time went by & not accomplishing a whole lot. Hopefully though someone will gain something out of this.
Inja arranging one of my tracks on the 707. I also got Renoise as someone suggested it in the comments. It's fun. This is what I made in the first 24 hours of having it. More to come..
Oldschool Jungle breaks on Renoise. Production isn't mixed, but does have a distortion and limiter on the master track.

#renoise #atmosphericdrumandbass #ambient here's a project file for renoise that you can use for whatever. i used zebra2 for the synth sounds, but if you don't have zebra2... the synth sounds are labeled... so feel free to replace it with another vst to see what you can get going! the only 3rd party fx plugin is valhalla supermassive, which is free (and amazing). I used a vinyl sim in the video just for fun, it's not in the project file! this is a longer track, 90s style... realistically, you can cut 2 mins and add some automation/modulation etc to liven it up a but more :) project file: 🤍 Download all of my tracks for free on my bandcamp: 🤍 soundcloud: 🤍 instagram: 🤍arcologies hit me up!

🤍 Steps: 1. edit plugins on track accordingly. this could be any effect you want. with or without automation. Whatever sounds cool. I used Infiltrator in this example because it is easy to cycle through presets. I added some automation for example. You can be as simple or complex as you want. 2. Open up samrender by right clicking the pattern matrix. 2.1. Select the instrument you want to put the resamples in. 2.2. Select the pattern in the matrix. You can select multiple patterns. This is part of what makes it better than just resampling with native renoise tools. 2.3 Select accumulate in the SAMRENDER window. This will build a library of resamples for you to use. This is also what makes it better than resampling, by helping organize your resamples. 3. Hit render in SAMRENDER 4. Repeat. Build up a variation library very quickly. Mix them back into the pattern. Do the process again and again and again. Stay organized.
